I walked over 9 miles and raised more than $1,000 for the NWF on Sunday!  I just posted photos from the walk.  Today, I got to tell everyone at my school about how far I walked and how much money I raised.  Now I’m going to be going around and collecting the money from my sponsors.  Some people who are just learning about the walk are sending donations.  It makes me so happy that so many people want to help the animals!

 

Tomorrow I’m walking to raise money for the National Wildlife Federation so that they can help the animals covered in oil in the Gulf of Mexico.  I’ll be walking through the largest Audubon Sanctuary in Massachusetts, the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary.  I’ve gotten lots of sponsors and I am super excited!  I want to go walking right now!  My Mom and I made this shirt today with all of my sponsor’s names on it.  This picture is of the front.  There are more names on the back.  I designed the pelican!  I’m going to wear the shirt tomorrow on my walk.  Well, I’ve got to get to bed early tonight because I need lots of rest for tomorrow!  Goodnight!
