I went to Ipswich today for an art class. The best part of my class was when I got to feed wild birds. I fed them seed right out of my hand! I was thrilled when the first bird landed on my hand, but I stayed very still because I wanted more birds to come. Each time a bird flew to my hand I smiled. I fed black-capped chickadees, tufted titmice, and a white-breasted nuthatch! I was surprised when the white-breasted nuthatch landed on my hand. I usually only see them standing upside down on trees. I enjoyed feeding all of the different types of birds and didn’t want to stop when it was time to go. I was so exhilarated that I skipped and hopped all the way back to the barn.
My name is Anna Rose and I am 8 years old. I have a little brother, Dylan, and 2 pets, a dog named Karma, and a Betta Fish named Blaze. I love animals and I want to do whatever I can to help them.
